I decided I would make one of the easier English Paper Piecing blocks this week as I didn't have much free time, so I selected the Pentagon Rings.
Pentagons are the 5 sided shapes and require 10 pentagons to make a ring.
You only have to sew the side together to form the ring so they stitch up quickly.
It is easier to remove the papers while still warm after starching and ironing as it softens the glue.
I made mine with a scrappy look so each pentagon was a different fabric, a perfect way to use up all those small pieces of fabric that are left over from cutting the pieced blocks.
I need four Pentagon Rings and appliqued each onto different background fabrics.
Have fun deciding what fabric you will use, the options are endless!
