Part 3 Mystery Hexagon Quilt 2024

Welcome to Part 3 of our 2024 Mystery Hexagon Quilt!

We are going to add a new row to the quilt.

All instructions will use the following Mercantile fabrics by Lori Holt

Create your own legend to replace your fabrics with my own.

Hexagon Requirements

You will need to make the following fabric Hexagons

29                    Blue   

29                    Aqua

29                    Gold

29                    Pink

29                    Green

29                    Red

  6                    Navy

57                    Cream

Shape 1

Make the following shapes in the following colour combinations

Sew the pieces together using the pictures as a guide.

Repeat and make this shape again in the following colour combinations

Make Cream Shape 1

Join 2 Cream hexagons together. Do this 5 times

Create the Row

Use the diagrams as a guide and sew a cream set of 2 hexagons between the Shape 1 pieces.

Make Cream Shape 2

Join 3 Cream shapes together 6 times

Make Cream Shape 3

Join 5 Cream shapes together 5 times & 4 Cream shapes together once

Sew these sets of Cream shapes to the top the row

Part 3 is now complete!

Sew Part 3 to the top of the completed Part 2
