Sherri McConnell and her daughter Chelsi Stratton run A Quilting Life together from southern Nevada. Sherri grew up surrounded by generations of women who sewed, got her first machine at ten, and started quilting after finishing college. She began blogging in 2008 and has been publishing patterns and books ever since. Chelsi grew up with fabric and the hum of a sewing machine, and the two have been designing for Moda together since 2015.
