The Design Story
Bumble Trellis B takes the ordered geometry of the A colourway and shifts the temperature entirely. The brick red ground is confident and strong, making the cream trellis and white motifs stand out with real contrast. The bees and clovers read more crisply against the dark background than they do against the golden yellow of the A colourway, giving the design a different kind of graphic energy. On Liberty Lasenby cotton, the regular repeat cuts predictably and evenly, with no bias concerns to manage on the straight grain. We brought Bumble Trellis B in because warm red quilting fabrics with a geometric character are genuinely hard to find, and this one does the job without losing the charm of the bumblebee motif that gives the whole design its personality.
