A fun weekend project with step by step instructions.

The Block Holder is the perfect size to hold your embroidery or small pieced blocks so they stay nice and flat.

An inside pocket holds your supplies.

The easy embroidery can be done with Stranded Cotton or Perle 8 thread and can be paired with your favorite fabric!

     

Block Holder: 9.5 x 9.5 inches closed, 9.5 x 19 inches open

 

Requirements

12 inch Square of Linen for Mandala                     

12 inch Square Weft for back of stitchery

30cm Blue Fabric for back & inside of Block Holder 30cm Iron on Interfacing

Blue Washout Pen or removable marker

Crewel Needle for stitching

Variegated Stranded Cotton or Perle 8 Thread for Mandala Stitchery             

1mt Ribbon                                 

2 pieces of cardboard 9 x 9 inches (Cereal boxes or a packaging box)
