The Design Story

Emily Blossom is a collection influenced by one of Liberty's crafting classics, Emily Belle. Inspired by a celebration of botanicals, from daisies and marguerites to peonies and cornflowers, it has been reimagined as a wide-width fabric. Pale Sky sets crisp porcelain white flowers on a soft blend of light powder blue and delicate periwinkle. The scattered, non-directional layout means there is no motif direction to match across the back. The stable Lasenby cotton keeps your quilt sandwich flat and consistent, with no bulky pieced seams. We chose it as a calm blue reverse for quilts that carry the Emily Belle blues on the front.
