The Beyond the Porch  Quilt Pattern is a nine-pattern journey through appliqué, hand stitchery and paper-pieced Dresden plates. Nine blocks of sweet critters and garden scenes, all framed in hexagon-rich borders. Designed by Natalie Bird for makers who love slow, thoughtful hand work.

  • 19 coloured fat quarters in various small/medium prints (pattern uses Tilda Bumblebee fabric range)
  • 2.7m (108”) cream background fabric
  • 1.6m (64”) floral border print
  • Fat eighth each of plains: tan, pale pink, burnt orange, and mid blue
  • 15cm (6”) square of plain grey and plain white
  • 55cm (22”) binding fabric
  • 2m x 2m (80” x 80”) backing fabric
