The Design Story
Ambiance, from 3 Sisters for Moda Fabrics, is an autumnal range of vintage-inspired florals, intricate paisleys and refined patterns. The fat eighth bundle is the small cut way into that range, with all 40 prints at 23cm x 56cm each. Long narrow strips suit makers who work in small shapes, since one strip yields a good run of hexagons, tumblers or strip piecing. It also lets you see how the reds, navies, sages and creams sit together before buying larger cuts. Jemima's Creative Quilting offers it beside the fat quarter bundle so you can choose the size that matches your project.
