Part 7 Mystery Hexagon Quilt 2024

Welcome to Part 7 of our 2024 Mystery Hexagon Quilt!

We are going to create a new row to add to the quilt.

All instructions will use the following Mercantile fabrics by Lori Holt

Create your own legend to replace your fabrics with my own.

Hexagon Requirements

You will need to make the following fabric Hexagons

28                    Blue   

28                    Aqua

28                    Gold

28                    Pink

28                    Green

28                    Red

  6                    Navy

63                    Cream

Shape 1

Make the following shapes in the following colour combinations

Sew the pieces together using the pictures as a guide.

1 Cream

1 Navy

2 Blue

6 Pink

6 Green

6 Gold

4 Aqua

4 Red

1 Cream

1 Navy

2 Gold

6 Aqua

6 Blue

6 Red

4 Green

4 Pink

1 Cream

1 Navy

2 Aqua

6 Red

6 Gold

6 Pink

4 Blue

4 Green

1 Cream

1 Navy

2 Pink

6 Green

6 Red

6 Blue

4 Gold

4 Aqua

1 Cream

1 Navy

2 Red

6 Gold

6 Aqua

6 Green

4 Pink

Make Cream Shape 1

Join 2 Cream hexagons together. 

Do this 5 times

Use the diagrams as a guide and sew a cream set of 2 hexagons between the Shape 1 pieces

Make Cream Shape 2

Join 4 Cream shapes together 6 times

Use the diagrams as a guide and sew a cream set of 4 hexagons to the bottom of the row

Make Cream Shape 3

 Join 4 Cream shapes together 5 times

& 3 Cream shapes once

Sew these sets of Cream shapes to the bottom of the row

Part 7 is now complete!

Sew Part 7 to to the top of the completed Part 6
